Vikosi was created for a fairly simple reason. We couldn't find a decent place anywhere to buy the kind of board games we enjoyed playing ourselves. The big online stores had everything in stock, but knew nothing about what they were selling — descriptions taken directly from the publisher, no real recommendations, no careful selection. The specialized hobby shops were great if you already knew what you wanted, but harder to figure out if you were a beginner or buying something for someone else.
What we sell
Board games. That is the entire list. No puzzles, no merchandise, no random gift items secretly added to boost the average order value. We thought about it a few times — it would probably bring in more money — but it would also turn us into something we don't want to be.

Why board games?
Honestly? Because they bring people together and keep them there. There is something special about sitting at a table with friends or family—phones screen down, snacks within reach, someone claiming they really had to play that card on that turn. You don't get that from a streaming service. You don't get it by scrolling. It is slower, messier, and more memorable.
We have also noticed that board games have quietly become one of the better social hobbies for adults. They give you a reason to invite people over without it having to be a big hassle. They bridge age gaps. They are a good excuse to spend three hours with people you really like.
Where we are going
We are not the biggest online store. Nor is that our intention. We prefer to grow slowly, carefully expand our assortment, and maintain the customer service that keeps people coming back. The plan is to continue adding titles we believe in, offer fair deals when it makes sense, and remain the place where the team behind the screen genuinely cares if you are satisfied with your purchase.
